Notes: I love sleepsacks for Madelyn since it’s like a blanket but she can’t kick it off. She’s starting to get big for her 0-9 month ones, so for Christmas we got her a couple bigger ones. They’re pretty expensive though, so I decided to try making one myself. It was actually easier than I expected, although the snaps proved to be the biggest nuisance of all.
Notes: My 4th blanket for Madelyn and I can’t believe I finished it before her big arrival. It’s a fairly large blanket but was pretty quick to make since the yarn was so bulky. I think this is one of my favorite projects yet.
Notes: I made this out of basically one skein of yarn, with just a little extra for a border. I tried out alternating double crochet and single crochet. I ended up dropping some stitches along the way so it’s a bit lopsided, but the border helps hide it somewhat. It should make a good blanket for the car seat.
Notes: This is my 2nd blanket to make for Madelyn, and I’m actually surprised I managed to finish it before her arrival. It’s smaller than the last blanket but should work well as a bassinet/general use blanket.
Notes: I alternated the pink and purple colors for something different. Our biggest issue was figuring out how to attach this to the wall. In the end we decided to use removable mounting squares and so far they seem to be holding up pretty well.
Yarn: Bernat Baby Coordinates, Daisy Yellow & Blue Bon Bon
Hook Size: H
Notes: This was my first real crochet project to start, and it’s finally finished! Aiden picked out the colors and though he’s grown quite a bit since I started, it should still make a nice blanket for him to use while watching tv.
Notes: This is my first crochet hat so it was mostly just an experiment, especially since I wasn’t using a pattern. It didn’t turn out as nice as I hoped it would, but hopefully it will still be something that Madelyn will be able to wear.
